They could always have Monolith Soft, Sega, Intelligent Systems, or Platinum Games to make Smash, just saying.
They should stick with devs with fighting game experiences IMO.

Whatever happened to HAL though

Platinum Games and Monolith Soft would be interesting.

IntSys? Maybe.

But Sega? **** no!

Bandai Namco would be one of the best developers for the next Smash. They are one of the few companies that still have a majorly good reputation.

I agree. Their experience with fighting games really helped. SSB4 manages to feel satisfying to play.

I wish, but he didn't.
The art had some detail put in it though. Just sad the creators had to go that route.
You'd be surprised how much easier it is just to draw hentai/porn, as it tends to be the quickest and easiest way to learn anatomy.

That and in order to draw something new and creative takes skill in writing and story telling just to come up with something good, and we all know hentai and porn doesn't need much to be good other then to look pretty.

I guess so. Still not exactly a career choice I prefer though.

Monolith Soft and Bandai Namco should work on smash with help from Sakurai, they are the only ones that have worked on a smash game.

Guys, I think Ayesha really is innocent. We shouldn't suspect her so much. :(

I think Sakurai should stay involved in the series. It just doesn't necessarily have to be him do all the hard work himself. Instead, I think he could have a role of supervision.

It would be a way of taking the series into a different direction, under a different director, but without losing the essential philosophies of the series.

My biggest worries would have to be the character selection. Under the wrong vision, the roster could have a questionable character selection. By questionable, I mean removing retros (Bye :4gaw::4rob::4duckhunt:), pandering too much to recent games (could lead to removals like Ike or Sheik) or Pink Gold Peach-tier garbage.

This is my biggest fear as well. And that we only get boring, predictable stuff like Dixie, Takamaru and K. Rool instead.

Sakurai isn't the Director we want, but the Director we need.

Batman confirmed.

On the upside, we might get someone who doesn't just ignore fan requests for characters. Sakurai is a :troll:

So I looked at this

And I was all like
"ECKH"
So I did this
Yoshi (Alt).png
Yoshi (Alt) bigger.png

...Now watch as someone takes this Image without my permission, recolors it poorly (such as making the head scales or saddle green as well) and uses it in SSBCrusade or any other Smash fangame and claims they made it.
But noone would do that, right?

I'm thinking something like what Miyamoto did with the Mario series.

He's no longer directly involved with the series, but he still has a supervising role and some of the essential aspects of the series are preserved, while at the same time giving the newer directors some degree of freedom.

I think the essence of Smash is the gameplay it always had and the character roster.

>:diddy::dedede::metaknight::olimar::pit::wario::toonlink::sonic: in Brawl.

Nice try.

Not to mention focusing solely on fan requests would make the roster kind of boring and way too predictable. Adding non-requested characters tends to be very interesting additions.

And people have to face the reality that even if Sakurai stops getting in charge of the roster, it's not going to significantly boost everyone's chances.
