On a more solemn note, even though I never really got to know @Shorts I still feel saddened whenever a member passes. I hope his family and friends are doing well during this tough time.

The fact that they're pushing it as a yearly thing is particularly saddening. when they took at least two years to develop each game in the series, the outcome was much better, and now they're like trying too hard to rival CoD.

I've always seen @Shorts around since I've been a member of this forum. He was known as @Shortiecanbrawl before his rather recent name change.

He was mainly responsible for character polls and also owned the Krystal support thread, being one of her major supporters on this site. He had been speculating for Smash 4 even before these forums were created (around the time I created my account here).

I had a few heated arguments with him in the past too, but there were times where we agreed with each other as well. Overall, I didn't really get along with him, but he was someone I always saw around.

Still, his passing is saddening considering his young age (he was 21, just like me) and it's haunting that every time I notice his absence, I'm reminded of this hard fact.

The fact he died in a car crash reminds me of how lucky I was 11 years ago when I had one as well.

it's called Assassin's Creed: Victory.. it seems. Unity (and maybe Rogue) were just released weeks ago and now they come up with a new one? I sense a SEGA situation here, in which people will lose consumer trust in Ubisoft after releasing the same thing every year.. that's what I think.

Admittedly I didn't always get along with @Shorts or agree with him, and when I did agree with him I didn't usually directly interact with him either. He's not someone I spoke to much, but he was pretty big part of the Forum (the SSB4 community at least) having created and monitored several polls and all, and he did seem like a generally nice person if you got know him enough.

I already heard about this a few days ago but never shared my thoughts on the matter on this particular thread. Sad to hear he's passed, especially this early in his life.
