The one number in Frozen I liked was actually the opening number with the dudes ice farming

partly because it was cool, but mostly because it wasn't spammed everywhere. "Let It Go" seem pretty generic to me, but I only started hating it when it was everywhere

At least everyone realizes how terrible "Fixer Upper" was.

In other news, I found an extended cut of the lightsaber scene in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

You want to know what's the worst part? Rosalina is mostly popular with younger girls in the Smash fandom and they often mistaken her for Elsa. Not lying, TV Tropes never lies when it comes to the things they state. :urg:

lol I have posted like 3 videos already. But really? I just don't get it.

I'm both very happy and very sad that Nabbit can be killed on the Mushroom Kingdom U stage. I think it'd be cool if he could be a playable character in the next Smash, although I don't have my hopes up considered there would be A LOT of Mario reps if he was included (unless the roster is like 70+ characters, then I think it's ok). Oh, and does Nabbit being present while Wario is on-stage hurt the theory that Nabbit is in fact Wario, or is it the sort of thing that can be explained away by "Smash logic"?

Oh, and I ventured into online smash for the first time today. It was lagless in almost all cases, and the lag only occurred against specific players so I think it was something on their end causing it. That said, I got my butt kicked pretty good by almost everyone I faced. I'm happy about the experience though, because each time I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong or needed to change in order to start taking matches from my opponents. But then they'd just leave instead of trying to switch things up or beat my tactics, and then it'd be back to square one against the next opponent.

Still, in terms of progress I'm happy with how far I've come since I started Smash 4. First comes getting the basics of the game (which I've had since 64 but never applied very strongly), then mastering precise inputs to get the moves I want from my character (this needs some work, I'm still trying to eyeball Yoshi's hitboxes/hurtboxes, as well as which moves work best for approaching or countering in different situations, and I still have some trouble getting the exact input I want every single time but I feel like that'll come with practice), and then there's reading opponents (which, while it also needs some work, I'm happy to say that I seem to be alright at). Normally what happens is I'll get two-stocked in my first match, maybe take a stock in second, and by the third or match match I've figured out how to get around my opponent's favourite tactics and I can start taking matches off them. Another thing I need to work on is making use of throws and the c-stick more often, as I rarely use either and I feel like it would help my offensive and defensive options if I could integrate those more fully into my playstyle.

Unfortunately, sparring against my Yoshi amiibo seems to only do so much. Oh well, at least I'm improving, or it feels like I am. Also, I hadn't considered that some of the people playing online have had 7 weeks or more with the game on 3DS, so even if they're using different controls, they're used to seeing the characters' ranges and how they move. Hopefully I can catch up quickly in that regard if I put in the work to make it happen.

Y'know, since they are all about the same size they could probably throw a Bowser Jr and make them all a single character

So apparently in-game names on the Wii U version have separate records. inb4 you didn't know
Could be useful if you feel like trying out a character, I guess.

I watched the Smash Brothers documentary the other day, interesting stories and it certainly lends perspective on how the competitive scene became what it is today. Overall, though, I found the whole thing a bit sad. Not sad as in pathetic, but sad as in soul-crushing, in some cases. Especially Isai and Ken's stories. On the other hand, mew2king's story was pretty uplifting, and got me thinking about things.

As for what's up, I'm playing Smash 4 Wii U and occasionally checking this thread.
