But all jokes aside, at least we know that the game is somewhat successful and arguably helped pushed the Wii U sales a bit (which was mentioned by Nintendo today). With all the DLC we've been getting, I'd rather have the sequel happen in 3 years and whoever will be DLC BETTER be a part of the sequel's main roster.

I can see it happening. There's a lot of Zelda stuff that Hyrule Warriors neglected to include, and of course the one coming out next year. Potential cameos from other Nintendo franchises in the sequel? (And no I don't mean Chain Chomp kind of cameo )

You've just reminded me, there will be an endless amount of weapon possibilities given how many there were in Kid Icarus Uprising. Along with obvious clubs, there's a wide variety of bows and staffs to choose from.

Dark Pit wouldn't get in, we're not talking about Clone Smash Bros. I'd imagine the others are about right. There are loads of options for bosses as well, a place Hyrule Warriors was poor in.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who's thought about a Kid Icarus Warriors. I'd love one even if I'm not a huge fan of the franchise.

Also, I was cleaning the attic at my parents' place and found all of my N64 games (and a controller) which I thought were long gone by now, but alas, there they were the whole time! Happy happy joy joy!
