I take it your Gastrodon doesn't have Storm Drain as its ability? You could use Staravia to cut Floatzel's Attack in half (three of his moves are Physical), although that's a really risky way to go as this is a Nuzlocke.
Edit: Never mind, you already won. Hurray!

I sent in Staravia once to heal Gastrodon. It thankfully lived. My Gastrodon has Storm Drain, but it doesn't give immunity in Gen 4.

I'm doing permanent boxing instead of releasing though, and I count gifts under the first rule. I might do an even harder run once I get a Gen 5 game. (Which I'm only getting for the bank.)

I remember the first time I played Diamond. I tried to power through everything with my starter. It didn't work. The Elite Four were practically unbeatable. I made it to the Champion once. In the end, I borrowed a friend's Rayquaza to beat the league.

I was so stupid...
