Was there ever an actual rivalry.
Why can't we just, you know, have fun? It's not really a rivalry.

I walked into this, expecting not to be surprised.

I was wrong.

Several times.

BACK FROM THE DEAD!

After a whole week of TF2 trading, I finally... still have nothing to show for it...

At the very least did anyone miss me?

I only remember the people I saw on here constantly during that stretch where I came here every day earlier in the summer.

And Cyndane. But I never spoke directly to Cyndane. Not after that one Hunger Games with moderators and a couch.

EDIT: Well, look at that. It's Cyndane! :troll:

YO TSM | ZERO IS FIGHTING JUNEBUG IN PM RIGHT NOW
NEVERMIND IT'S OVER JUNEBUG BODIED HIM LOL
So does this mean we instead have a rivalry in our own thread?

So social thread civil war?

Who wants to be the south? cause I don't!
TIME FOR UNPOPULAR OPINIONS
I would actually like to be the South. Why?
Because the North had absolutely no legitimate moral grounds to stop the secession of states from the union.

Therefore, even though the South was undoubtedly wrong on one key moral question of the age, that is, slavery, the North is far more wrong in that they resorted to the illegitimate use of force for the sake of political unification and centralization above all, another key moral question of the age.

That aside, if you want to argue from a 'utilitarian' perspective, the noble use of jury nullification meant that the Fugitive Slave Act was never enforced. Additionally, many European countries all demonstrated that it was entirely possible to peacefully abolish that evil institution known as slavery.

Furthermore, all appreciable cultural indicators stated that the South was moving away from slavery before the fires of the war and the tensions immediately before then kicked up.
