Well there is definily sci-fi in it. Since that some character are in fact alien or other are like mutated or have power because of experience. However, there is more subgenre i will say but i can't say right now. (But there is genre like Horror, Action or other thing like that.)

Just saw the Death Battle myself and the outcome was far too obvious. Knuckles just wish he could chuckle before his final moments. And they unsurpringly overused the "Oh no!" voice clips from Sonic Adventure.

Nah, they completely used the Moon Feat as the reason and casually said that Strong Kong easily counters Hyper Knuckles when talking about the forms that wouldn't be used.

And the funny thing is that Knuckles's best non-Archie feat came from Sonic Boom of all things (making a volcano erupt in a single punch in the opening).

If you want to play Sinnoh, play Platinum. D/P have too many flaws to make them enjoyable. For me, at least.
