X8 is awesome; it's an excellent return to form after how lackluster X7 was.

Personally, I'd say X8 is worth having in your collection.

Ikkikasei is supposed to increase my amount of hits by 100%

Normally I do 15 hits

But with Ikkikasei I'm only doing 16 hits

Edit: I figured it out

He needs "Frenetic Fighting"

Which means I have to get rid of one of my abilities for it...

Frenetic Fighting changes the hit cap from 16 to 32

Edit 2: He's actually dealing LESS damage with his hit cap raised...

...

One of his abilities gives him the chance to attack more per round, the other increases the damage of each attack

Without the ability to let him attack more, sure he deals 9999 but only does that twice max

Without the ability that increases the damage, he attacks quite often but deals 5000 damage max each time. This only gives him a 25% each attack to attack again so at max he can deal 20,000. That's barely over the 19998 of the previous...
