After playing the new DLC for awhile, I have to say, I suck with Bayonetta. Corrin on the other hand I like playing.

Did downloading and installing take 30 minutes on the Wii U version for anyone else? I mean, the 3DS one went as fast as Usain Bolt, but for some reason the Wii U version took ages.

Got the chance to try out Corrin and Bayonetta last night. Love how Corrin plays out. His tilts make for some easy combos, the counter is pretty cool, and landing a KO with his neutral special feels really satisfying. Still trying to master the side special, but at the rate this is going, Corrin could well be a new main (or a secondary main at the very least).

Bayonetta is another really fun character. I can definitely notice the learning curve that's needed when using her, but I think learning how to use her properly will make for a great experience.

Aw man, Corrin is really fun so far. I just figured out how to the the instant Side-B to ground from the ground thing, instead of having to go through that whole animation.

Corrin's attacks hit very interestingly.

I had to study for tests last night, so I didn't have time to download Corrin/Bayonetta... Hopefully I won't have too much homework so I can play when I get home.

I was just listening to some of the new songs included in the update... And I would pay an extra amount of money just for "Let's Dance Boys". That track is fantastic.

For me, both the 3ds and Wii U took a little less than 20 minutes.

I'm surprised that the eShop wasn't crashing/lagging horribly last night.
I got Corrin, Bayo, and the Knuckles outfit for Miis.
In other words, I got Corrin, Bayo, & Knuckles.

My Wii U took a billion years to update the software, whereas my 3DS took like ten minutes to finish, if I recall correctly. I haven't bought the new content due to the lack of eShop funds, but I plan on sorting that out at a later time.

And bayonetta combing is definatly harder than Ryu but she's really fun

She uses the guns during Smash attacks too if you hold down the A button.

It took me about 2-3 hours for the patch to update on the Wii U. 3DS patch update kept getting an error message, so I set it as "Download Later" and let it download in sleep mode while I went to a bar with coworkers. It finished downloading within the hour and a half I was gone.

Well, that's a pretty solid example of translating a mechanic in the original game into Smash. Though given that Bayonetta had originally come from a fast-paced action game, most of her fighting style could be translated easily.

Bayonetta's combos are really annoying, I haven't use her yet. I was using Cloud since I really want him to be my main.

I'm kinda sad to say this but.... I think I like Fire Emblem number 6 better than Bayonetta...

I picked up Corrin and immediately felt comfortable using her, and It took very little time to figure out how to connect all her best moves... Bayonetta on the other hand.... was nowhere as easy to pick up and go and.... I still don't think I have her down.... even on a level 3 CPU, pulling off that combo where you hit them with side B twice in the air has so far proved elusive...

She's not bad, but I don't really.... like her.... yet... I hope more time with her makes me like her more.

Any reason you can't use the eShop?

Indian credit cards don't work in the eShop.

To buy them, I'll have to buy an eShop card from sites like Play-Asia and redeem it. To buy from there, I need Paypal, which doesn't work with the majority of Indian banks.

I finally figured out how to make Paypal work, but I decided to hold off until they released the all-in-one character bundle. I suppose I'll get it on my birthday in July this year.

Corrin is lots of fun to play! I love the Side-B. Haven't tried Bayo that much yet, not really interested in her. Her stage is amazing, though.

I just bought the DLC last night, as well. Only played for about an hour, trying (and failing) to use Bayonetta (also played a bit of Corrin)

Bayonetta seems like a really cool character, but I feel like you'd have to devote a lot of time into her to use her well.

Corrin is... okay, fine, Corrin is pretty cool.
As much as I hate to admit it, I actually did enjoy testing them out last night, despite my disappointment in the character themselves.

I haven't had as much time with either character as I'd like, but Bayo's combo style is tough for me to get used to. I've never been big on combo-heavy characters, and somehow I thought that'd change overnight!

Corrin's fun, and I'm doing well with him/er... but a big part of that is he's a direct counter to Bayonetta, who's getting the lion's share of the FG limelight. He's pretty versatile though, and I tend to stick with characters who can adapt to many situations and have an open range of options. To that respect, I kind of like him better...

...buuut I've been learning Cloud lately and think it's a little too soon to interrupt with a new character. So, I might be sticking to Cloud a while longer!

I have played it, and even become addicted to it (unlocked every support available through a single playthrough, now I'm working on all the marriage/sibling/parent-child supports possible through multiple playthroughs). It's by far my favorite strategy and RPG game. I just happen to think another series deserves to grow (looking at you, DK).

I found a neat addition on the new stage.

When you play on Umbra Clock Tower, the clock itself is actually set to the same time as you have the WiiU/3DS system set to!
It's a minuscule detail, but I think it's really clever.
