Well, I freaked out last night because I thought I lost my phone in a town an hour away but apparently according to several types of "Find my iPhone" programs, its right in my school at the Band Hall somewhere.

Now I just have to find it before the seven hour drive to State Marching Contest this week.

Busy with my Master course. I'm into my third week now and I'm only at the tip of the workload iceberg. Enjoying it.

Besides that and hanging out with people on my Masters course, I finally finished Fire Emblem: Awakening today. Glad I managed to finish all of it after clocking in 45+ gameplay hours. That game's beautifully hand-crafted.

Damn those dinosaurs. Those things have screwed me over too many times in Scenario Mode, with the absolute screw-over when their average happiness dropped under the required average happiness one day before the scenario ended.

The rendering of the 3D cutscenes.

Bizarre choice. Despite the small amount of cutscenes in the whole game, they're the first thing I thought of when I saw FE: Awakening. Not only do the character models look near-identical to their 2D character sprites/design, they manage to take the stylisation of 2D-produced anime and recreate it brilliantly in a 3D engine. The characters look like they belong in an anime. Ironically, the only reason they don't look like an 100% authentic 2D anime is because the character animations are too good in comparison.

. . .Huh. Yokai Watch isn't half bad. Cheap as HECK with the title animation though, considering they pretty much just recycled footage from the anime.

And how did that one lady at the beginning of the demo gameplay know to point the finger at Yokai when this kid is supposedly the only one who can see them?

Also I still want to punch Whisper in the face and he isn't even doing anything right now.
