I put hay in the rabbits cage and my mom had a fit saying " THATS TOO MUCH" When Im supposed to give her several handfulls.

she put her hand in the cage to take the hay out and Pikachu nipped her and in return, my mom hit her enough to hit her against the cage.. After that, Pikachu want nothing to do with the ***** lol

Oh my god. I mean, it's not good that your rabbit gets that territorial about food, mine wouldn't dare.

But that's really bad of your mother I can't blame Pikachu for not wanting anything to do with her, lol.

You wanna know something funny, I can put my hand near her hay and food bowl while she is eating and all she will do is lunge at my hand, sniff it and back off but wont bite lol

It's normal in animals yes, but a lot of domestic rabbits are too docile to do that. All of the ones I've had didn't and looking online it's pretty common to have non-biting rabbits.

But yeah, that's the rabbit equivalent of being pushed into a chain-link fence, yikes.

For the record though one died of starvation (it was a bottom feeder), one died of ick, and one died of not eating (like it refused food even if we let it be alone).
