I remember back in pre-release days, about one year and half ago I've made a speculation list about which Pokémon would be Poké Ball summons in SSB4. I've strangely not looked back at this list until now, and I think it may be interesting to share it. Some of these moves are not offensive moves in Pokémon games, so I might explain how I imagined them if I remember. Italic are returning Pokémon from Brawl.

Note that Palkia and Dedenee were already confirmed, and the former's attack was confirmed too, but Dedenne's attack has yet to be confirmed (it's actually Discharge). I also predicted that Aerodactyl, Blaziken, Garchomp, Gardevoir, Gyarados ans Scizor could sometimes mega evolve when summoned to use more powerful attacks, which obviously didn't happen.

For returning Pokémon, I got right: Bellossom, Deoxys, Electrode, Gardevoir, Goldeen, Kyogre, Lugia, Meowth, Metagross, Mew (though it gives move than just trophies), Moltres, Snorlax, Staryu, Suicune an Togepi. All others I predicted would return were cut.

For new Pokémon, I only got fully right both the Pokémon and the move for Darkrai and Xerneas, and even then for the later I definitely didn't imagine the exact same effect it actually does in Smash 4. I got Arceus and Meloetta right but not the move they would be using. Every other new Pokémon I got wrong: Greninja is playable; Blaziken, Garchomp, Ho-Oh, Klinklang, Scizor and Tepig are background characters in Kalos Pokémon League; Reshiram and Zekrom are stage hazards in Unova Pokémon League; Yveltal makes a cameo appearance in Prism Tower; everyone else doesn't appear in SSB4 at all (expect for a Dialga trophy in Smash Wii U). Also it's funny how the only gen 5 starter I predicted would be a Poké Ball summon actually was the only one who didn't become one in the actual game.

This prediction list was kept under my computer files for very long and when I remembered it I thought it would be a shame if I never looked at it back, especially considering how much the April Direct which happened less than one month after this list's creation literally invalidated it.

I just had a brutal battle with Lance, and I made a couple of mistakes that extended the battle like 10 minutes more, luckily my Steelix tanked enough hits that allowed to make a new strategy and win.

Change themes to make it into a color that is less prevalent. I use Onyx, so it is a light unobtrusive gray.

Thats the animatronic they used for their commercial. I would love to have one of those. Looks kind of creepy though. I considered using that as an avatar for awhile. I might soon. But considering I spent 3 hours on this one, I will use this more often.
