I said this in the nintenzone thread, but what urks me so much is the fact they take down tas.

I love the tas and rta community for a long time because of what they did. Tas's goal is jsut to show a game potential beyond humans skills, thye don;t even try to modify the game.

The irony is this: the y invinte a ton of speedrunners at the world championship, but many of these speedrunners would find tas community a blessing and I know many of them don;t glitch hunt nor do tases. Tas is simply a major reason why you get so much discovery and research on games, they are used to use advanced tools like CE to check stuff inside the game and is the sources of many gltich findings that improved rta a lot.

So yeah, if you acknowledge speedruns, you pretty much imply to acknowledges tases as they just both go together.

I really hope nintendo will improve in that department, but they are at least improving lately, they really have work left to do though......

Well, sometimes I get that; If I program a game that requires tons of hours to fully enjoy it and then a week later a dude posts a way to glitch out everything and complete it in less than an hour I would be upset + the fact I also would feel angry with myself because I left that exploit that allows to bypass most of the game.

A diagonal input causes a nair.

So there's been news of Nintendo messing with Youtubers again. I get that it's a gray area and all, but really, I don't think those players are really doing any real harm. Maybe it's another case of some people being out of touch with their some of their audience.

I mean, not monetizing off of the videos is one thing. I can get that, even if I don't entirely agree with it. But they shouldn't be taken down.

After installing Windows 10 in July, I noticed some of the animations were kind of slow, such as the ones that occur when you open up the Start menu and Action Center. Didn't mind it at first, but then I randomly decided to change my screen resolution today and tinker with it for a bit, and they are buttery smooth now.

Honestly, it does not matter to me. I am not a YouTuber. If Nintendo feels as though free coverage of their games is detrimental to them, so be it.

Here's the question, why would it be detrimental if it's actually helping to promote the games? It's basically gauging the viewers interest in the game and it in turn strongly increases the likelihood of future purchases, it's free advertisment.

On the Japanese Pokémon names being "less creative", do know that, in the context of an entire game in Japanese, an English word will sound exotic and different.

Of course, those names don't work in English, because they're in English.

A lot of the Pokémon names in Japanese are also puns with Japanese words.
