I recently was in a server all by myself

and found it funny the scout can just sit on top of the payload and ride it to the end

Don't see any reason why it would be different.

For some reason I feel like his moveset could've been a little different even if only slightly.

Though now that I think about it hypothetically his Brawl moveset could've been drafted well before he was set to appear in Brawl so maybe not.

My guess is that he'd have a moveset based more on Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. Maybe he'd be wearing his SOAP shoes as well, which could have been cool provided that they didn't have the horrendous light-speed dash cuffs on the back of his shoes.

Hm, I doubt he would've had the SOAP shoes since they were only being promoted via SA2 but I can see him using moves from SA1&2 had he been in Melee, those being the newest games at the time.
