Yes, for example, Thunder and Aeroblast are Wind type moves in that game

Same applies to Rock and Ground type moves; those were merged in the Earth Type

Ironically Earth is inmune to Wind attacks and also is super effective against that type

Merging rock and ground is dumb. lol Retconning Thunder into a wind move is weird but I guess it makes sense in a weird way.
