Slowing Down D-Air

Ok so i'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but when you in the air to slow down your D-Air double tap the C stick down and G&W goes down on his key slower and and for a less amount of time falling. I think it could be used as a Trick to make people Spot dodge and get hit.
