SlideStep Pivot

Not a real big deal but a discovery I made by chance today. You can actually pivot at the beginning of the sliding animation when SlideStepping. Watch through this vid to get a decent look at what I'm talking about.

Probably none until spacing becomes the only thing that begins to determine matches.

I guess at high percentages you could use it to dodge an attack and then short hop a b-air (since your opponent will now be behind you) for a kill.

Anyway to do it you first need to preform a SlideStep.

For those unfamiliar, a SlideStep is where you hold the Shield Button in after preforming a SideStep in order to lurch forward ever so slightly.

After the SlideStep you need to pivot. The timing might be a little tricky for some. Pivoting, the way it works, makes you pivot on your front foot. Meaning the distance traveled forward when SlideStepping is actually increased by a little less then a Pit in width.
