skullbash stall

eh idk if other people found this out but you can stall with pikas overb on the ledge. only works on stages you can hit up against and i though it was pretty helpful.

Yeah, it's pretty nice. If I'm coming in and want to make an entry, I'll skullbash (or start to charge it) and get ready to hit someone on stage, but in the event someone's waiting to punish me I'll just wait an extra split second and hit the edge instead, then jump on stage with an fair or nair.

he's saying if you get knocked off the stage, instead of normally jumping to the ledge and risk getting smashed(esp if you opponent has a mid-range smash, like marth) , if you use skullbash(not necessarily immediately, but holding it for a sec or 2) you can deceive your opponent and cause him to attack prematurely, missing his attack. This could give you the opportunity to grab the ledge, QA or whatever.

I figured it out, and yes it does work on Final Destinaiton.

by stalling, what i was referring to is repeatedly falling off the leadge and skull bashing to regrab it like how shino stalling worked with Sheik in melee

what you guys are saying seems just like sweet spotting using the skill bash

Rykard does have it correct, its just a ledge stall. drop,skull bash, regrab. nothing more, nothing less.
