So, if Takamaru is about the historical average height for a Sengoku era man, he'd be 5'1". Since he's a successful Samurai, he probably ate food of higher nutritional content, so perhaps he'd be a few inches taller than that.

Him being like 5'4 would make sense in context, though kind of a little funny if he was barely taller then say Pit. Though like Oasis said previously, him being the same height as Link would also make sense. Though, an official height for the adult variants of Link have never been clarified as far as I know.

This thread is pretty much just a piss take at Ridley

Things that surpise me are MewTwo being taller than Charizard and Diddy Kong being barely bigger than DK's fist...

lol at Olimar on CF's helmet and at Toon Link looking so out of place.

Also, I think theres a bit of distortion when a character is infront of another because it gives the impression that they are closer and therefore should be bigger. Hence why Diddy looks so ridiculously little.

For some reason I used the Mario height chart for the Mario characters, but for some reason neglected to do so with Donkey Kong, so I made Diddy and Dixie too small. I'll get around to fixing that soon. Other than that, I made sure every character is on even ground while making the pictures to make sure they line up properly.

Anywho, OMG an update! Added F-Zero and updated the Misc. Nintendo section with the additions of Animal Crossing Villager and Shulk.

Now I can finally get those pesky 3rd parties going.

I knew Dedede was small compared to characters like Ganondorf and Mewtwo in canon, but I didn't think he was that small. I always thought Dedede was around 3 ft, since in most games, he towers over the ****** Kirby.
So....does that mean Dyna Blade.....is only the size of an average falcon when compared to someone like me?


Anyways, I have two questions in regards to the comparisons:
1. Was Porky scaled by body size in comparison to Ness and Lucas? Porky is shown to be slightly shorter than Ness, at least by their sprites.
2. Any chance of Dark Pit being added to the Kid Icarus size-up? I know he's literally the same height as Pit, but still, it would be nice to see since it would be an easy add-on.

This thread is just about comparing canon sizes of characters, and it showcases extreme cases in size differences from their appearances in Smash.
You should really know what you're talking about before spouting off crap.

Yeah, but in reality, all of the Kirby characters are tiny. Kirby's 8" and Dedede is about a head above him (at least in RtDl). These size-charts are meant to show just how all of the different characters stack up together if they were their original heights. Just fun, really, something to muse about while waiting for new Smash 4 info.

Could you please add Mewtwo's Awakening form onto the chart? It may be another form of the same character, but you DO have Paper Mario, Zero Suit Samus, and Sheik on there.

Just to point something out.

I think Slippy's a bit too tall.

In Starfox Assault, he's shorter than Wolf, Fox, and Falco. Not around the same size.
