I've tried to find if this was listed here and reddit and I didn't find it, so sorry if repost.

This time around it stands for:
Successful-Hit Fast-Fall Lag-Cancel

Different moves in the game have variable landing lag depending on whether or not they hit someone and you fast fall and hit the ground shortly after doing so.

Most prominent example I've found is Bowser Jr's Dair, but I've seen it on a few of the other spinning Dairs of others, like Fox. Still trying other aerials.

After you Dair, hit, then fast fall (I just spam it), you will have almost instant recovery. You can run, grab, smash, or anything immediately after this. This is based on time of hit to time of touching the ground. Rising dairs will not grant this lag cancel.

No custom items were used.

That's very interesting... you're sure that it's due to hitting the opponent that changes the amount of landing lag?

What about hitting shields?

That second video is hype

You clearly didn't watch the videos.

What the hell? Can confirm. Today just got more interesting.

Edit:
This works on any target, only on (Bowser Jr.) dair, and at any point in the move as long as any hitbox hits.
Correction: It is a property of the landing hitbox. This is the hitbox that has to connect with a hurtbox for this to trigger.

I know for a fact it doesn't work on any most aerials including virtually all dairs. Currently I'm assuming this is a unique property of Bowser Jr. dair.

Edit2:
This does not work on shield.

Edit3:
But it does work on Luma, even if Rosalina shields. So you can dair shielding Rosalina, hit Luma, and grab Rosalina.

So it works against hurtboxes but not shield... interesting... it should work against Pikmin and many projectiles :)

Takebacker, I did watch the video, I'm just not super familiar with B.Jr.'s aerial timings to say that the not-hitting and hitting versions were done at the same time... or that something else fishy wasn't happening... but this seems legit. Crazytown!
