I'm surprised that we aren't getting killed with spoilers by now. I guess the security is tighter around Brawl than it was around Melee.

Or maybe Nin10dough's information was right XP

Don't expect anything new to be revealed outside of the Dojo site for at least another week and a half. I don't know how they have done it but Sakurai and his team have done an excellent job of preventing any leaks.

This is how they prevented leaks.

You have to download an update not available on the Wii until release of game to play it.

I know!

I for one am in utter awe of what Sakurai has accomplished.

Keeping information exclusive has long seemed like an impossible task for game developers. I cannot cite a single recent example of a developer keeping a game under such tight wraps for so long.

I mean, it's less than a month away from its first release and we still know no more about Brawl than what has been announced on the Dojo or shown in the limited demos.

It really is quite a unique situation.

Of course, come the Japanese release, all hell will break loose.

Or maybe... there ARE?

...Well actually, now that I think about it, info HAS been 99% exclusive (Zelda interview with Ganondorf and Sheik is the other 1 percent), and yes it is indeed a huge feat, especially with the many many employees in the game company, in Nintendo, and their father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommates.

(if this is a double post I apologize)

EDIT: No, not a double post. Reason I said that is because I had trouble posting this.

The thing is, we probably do have spoilers, but its all mixed in with b*** s**t info and we here call BS on everything. so there's no telling who is right and who isn't.
That's cause 98% of what we here IS BS and only very few things will be right, but there is no way to know which it is with all these spamtards running around.

Sure they would. In Japan.
Yep. You could stand in a dark alley in Japan and do a Access Point and find like 20 access points. I bet there's even some in trash cans.

Well, maybe not THAT extreme, but if you want an idea.. have you ever played/watched MegaMan.EXE? That city reminds me of what Tokyo would be like.

We're getting a flood of spoilers. Whether or not you believe any of them is another matter entirely though. I hope you're not expecting the real spoilers to look any more credible than the fakes.

For all we know we've seen the true final roster posted before, but no one believed it. It's easy to dismiss the truth with all the prophets and "friends at Nintendo" have been showing up.

That would be ingenious on the developers/leakers if it was true. I believe that sometimes the best way to hide is right out in public.

So people without internet are SOL?
There's no way they'd do that.
The update will come with the game, when you first put the cd in your console will ask you to update your firmware with the provided upgrade, so you don't have to download it or anything.

But still, people can remove the update from the cd, if they know how. The updates aren't necessary, they're usually integrated to prevent modding.

No one can play Brawl until Jan 23/4th. Wii update required for it to run.

Thus people can't get their hands on early copies of the game.
Uh........ You know people that are working on Brawl know content it has....? Meaning someone working on it could leak info?
