Short Phantasm

so i was watching some Eggm videos and i was amazed at how effective the short phantasm was. it seemed everytime he used it his opponent used an attack that would normally punish the lag when you catch the ledge with a normal phantasm, but the short pne saved him. so i began trying to learn the timing for it. so i somehow stumbled upon the magic of button mashing. so basically the 100% sure fire way of doing the short phantasm you see Eggm doing is by pressing B 3 times really fast. the 3 includes the one to start the phantasm. 3 times, pretty fast. i can make a video if anyone wants it. if this was already know, my bad. but it was really awesome to start using and its so easy. peace..

I just use really good timing I can get 4 different distances with it. I sweet spot with forward b more/better than anyone if i do say so myself. xD

I don't mash at all. Just B good timing B again. With enough timing you can get any distance pretty much. If I do it perfect even m2k misses a bunch of edge guards vses me. This has helped me go to 2 pretty close sets with him recently in the past month one set I went to r5 last stock in PA then in MA, r3 last stock. I won r1 in the best of 3 and 2 rounds in that best of 5 (obviously) all because he can't edge guard me and kill me at 3 every % by using this. He used to be able to double jab to stop it but I got the distances and spacing so perfect I grab it in between marths double jabs which are super fast. Also it is easily edge guarded by f smash so occasionally you should do the full fast one or up + b to mix it up or you will just get edge hogged or f smashed if you abuse it lol. Oh also every set was all falco vs marth and i won r1 on FD in that best of 3, lol no videos so I have to brag somehow sorry. /Endbrag.

why not? anyways nah its just that eggms the man. you go to the falcon boards and none of the good players respond ex.darkrain SS jiano isai, scar and g-reg do occasionally but yea, eggms always here, and im startin to use falco more then falcon so yea, tryin to get some things straight.
