I can do it with double shines. Oooooh.

You should practice against someone like Link so you get your lasers perfect. If you laser on the first available frame both will hit, but on the next two the first laser misses. There are several characters like this (for instance, Peach). Only a few, like Ganon and Marth, will get hit with sloppy double lasers.

I'll be more impressed if you do it against Falco cause if you SHDL enough fast you can hit him with both lasers

I was using AR when I checked against Link...you need frame perfect timing to hit Link with both lasers unless my memory is mistaken.

Hmm...okay, it turns out Falco is the same height as Link. I never realized he was so tall before. I would have but I usually don't laser much against Falcos at it's somewhat pointless.

And Genesis, shine double laser is pointless, as is double shining. Hitting both lasers is an important skill, though. It's the difference between spamming and doing 40 damage vs. 25...also a good skill to practice would be to DI during your laser shots, forward or backward (backward is usually more useful).

I would once again like to reitterate that since you are not being hit, there is no "DI" involved. What you are reffering to is called "aerial control" and you could say: "Try moving while lasering"

DI means directional influence and while historically the term originated to refer to trajectory control, I really don't give a ****. It is widely used in the context of "aerial control" as well as trajectory influence, and if you can read you can probably determine the context for yourself.

I think DI refers to any type of Directional Influence whether or not you're being hit. For example, you can wavedash off a ledge (and not grab onto it) with marth by DIing away from the ledge.

Then I'm insanely fast because I can hit falco and or Link with the two lasers...

it's not that hard to do...

It's just like multishining, except 1 frame slower, no down, and b twice.

Prissy? That's certainly not a word I'd ever use to describe myself.

This thread has too much nonsense. Enough of that crap!

I'm not trying to come across as angry or demeaning or whatever you think I might be. I just have a very sardonic sense of humor. :ohwell:

lol well other people may not see that, if anything, use "lols"...no one can ever mistake someone if you use those.

For example "I HATE you" may be taken seriously..but "I HATE you lol" can never be taken that way.

Thebluedeath1000's got this right. Prissy is definitely what could describe you here. Remember, w/o lols/ XDs, no one can tell what tone of voice you're "talking" in.

Not bad considering I can't do it. Keep practicing what everyone else is telling you to do. Any pointers on SHDL? Anyone?
