I wouldn't mind a P4P, they would probably just add a female main character and call it a day.

I've wanted to, but I never made this thread. I feel like it would prbably end up dieing. :/

True, I was skeptical at first on creating this thread. Still am, but hey worth a shot. Persona and Atlus in general seem to be getting a bit more popular, slowly but steadily.

And surprisingly, I'd play P4P again just to go through as a female character. That much of a fan lol.

Disgaea 3 and now a Persona 4 remake, the Vita is getting more appealing.

But that fighting game, I don't know how it will play and it is probably already a day one buy for me

So much Persona news lately. And P4 on Vita makes me excited. I already wanted one and this seals the deal.
I also wonder if ASW is going to make the fighter super broken or let it take the balanced route.

Who knows bro. And man, I wish they'd plan on making the fighter P1-P4. That could be a hit. At the very least it'd generate alot of newfound interest in the series in general.

Has Arcsys ever had a balanced game on their first try?

I'm more interested in how it will play. Speculation will get me nowhere, I want some videos, but that's probably not going to happen for a while. :(

I mean like, HnK broken where it's to the point where it looks intentional.

And yeah, P1-P4 would be pretty cool just so we could have a collection of characters throughout the whole series. I'm pretty interested in how the fighting game takes place after P4. Makes me wonder how/if a certain P3 character will make it in.

Thinking about it, it will probably be very similar to JoJo's.

Since Personas pretty much equal Stands.

Smt 1 and 2 are amazing.

Persona sucks.

Dds 1 and 2 have amazing soundtracks. The gameplay itself is eh.

Strange journey ***** too.

Devil survivor was meh

i've never played it.

if its anything like dds or persona it will be awful.

atlus needs to go back to their roots. Megami Tensei is best as a FPRPG.
All opinion. I feel like they should just balance out their releases and offer something for everyone. But I like Nocturne, yes it is pretty similar to DDS except no voice acting and the story is less straightforward. The only problem I have with it is the encounter rate. It's through the roof. I haven't even beaten the game because I'm so exhausted with the encounter rate, and I'm at the very end lol.

I didn't know Persona 2 was out already.

I never figured out what to think of Persona 1 and have not played it in a long time. It seems better than I remember though, I think I'll try to finish it before moving onto P2.

Really?

I see it get a lot of praise, usually from the people that don't care for P3/P4. :/

Oh well, I'll find out when I get there. It should be better than P1 at least.

I love the Persona games. My favourite is Persona 4. Really hyped for the Vita port and fighting game! Also interested in Persona 2...

Devil Survivor was a pretty cool game too. Also the game that got me into the series lol. Waiting for the english release of DS2.

I wanted to try Nocturne (if only because Dante's in it lol). I did watch a whole LP of it though, and it looked really cool and fun.

Persona 2 is a really good game. It just got low reviews because it's a port of an old game. I guess some reviewers didn't think the gameplay was mainstream enough or something.

And yes, the game is much better than the first game.

Reviewers always hate ports and remakes so I guess it isn't surprising.

P1's battle system is strange, I'm just glad that P2 isn't like that.

I decided to stop by a different Gamestop than normal(because I need three near me for some reason) and found the two DDS games.

I thought I found Nocturne as well, but they just had the case and manual. :(
I may end up having to go online to find that.

And now I have seven Atlus games I need to complete. :D

Nice. I recommend looking up the freezing issue with Nocturne though. I heard that the newer batch of Nocturne (the one without the soundtrack in the game case) had some kind of problem. Not sure if it's true or if that was only with the software bc PS3, but I'd check just to be safe anyways.

Mine is the original one so I haven't had any problems.

I went to that Gamestop again and they had two copies of Nocturne.

Almost feels like I've been trolled.
