Shiek/Zelda vs Zelda

Which do you think is a more efficient style of play? I find it hard to get a kill with Shiek unless I gimp which I don't know how to do very well yet (still trying to master her moveset and learn combos/approaches/etc.)

Would it be better to switch to Zelda around 80% for the kill or should I just wait it out as Shiek? What do most of you do?

Personal prefernce.

Some people are good with Zelda, some people just edgeguard.

Personally I never change to Zelda only for the kill, though it is a legitimate technique. If I happen to be Zelda, ill kill with Zelda, otherwise its edgeguarding all the way.

Be really aggressive with your edgeguard. You need to know two things:

1. How far you can go before you have to recover.
2. How to string aerials and/or footstools.

This topic has really been overdiscussed. Seriously just search around a little on the boards before making new threads. This is just like going to the PT boards and asking "Which Pokemon is your favorite"? before looking around first.

i dont think this topic has been overdiscussed.

i lean more towards playing with shiek then zelda but against certain characters who have aerials that out prioritize you or techniques to get gimp kills while you try to edgeguard. i like to switch to zelda.

espically against floaty characters who just dont want to die (like kirby) but get thrown all over the stage once they get to higher percents i like to switch to zelda and spam din until i can get a tilt or smash off.

you asked for the most efficent style of play. if you mostly play shiek (im guessing you do since your here =p) a big part of your gimping potential is in your aerials so find which characters **** your aerials and then think about either changing your style or switching to zelda.

its kind of funny how shiek and zelda are two different forums if anyone were to learn there whole character they would do so much better.
