Katakiri dropped MK? Who did he move to?

Absol will prob cover most of the info, but Void will be the person to watch vs MK. He lives with Tyrant, beats Ito, Abadango and Tyrant as well.

I'm not going to make this an organized post. I'm just going to ramble.

Uair combo? Don't worry about it. Works at around 35 on sheik, but only if he hits with the late hit of his dash attack. Which means he has to space it. Which also means just walking away ever so slightly will make him wiff his dash attack which leads to punishes. Dtilt beats his dash attack as well as retreating ftilt. Falling Nair is super effect against him since mk likes to punish landings. If you're at 35% just camp the ledge. Who cares about stage control when it means he's fishing for one thing. If he gets you to 50% then good, no more death combo. Don't punish fsmash, don't think about fsmash, don't even look at fsmash. Let him have it. MK is a bait and punish character, but if you're playing all safe not overextending then he can't really do much. Don't take him to duck hunt or town and City so his uthrow can't kill you. Mk has five jumps, means he's likely to not airdodge, which means in the 50-50 dthrow uair combo don't wait for an airdodge often. If you think he's going for a dash attack or grab you can throw a burst grenade in the opposite direction so he gets hit by the explosion after hitting you. Because he travels so far with those option it makes for funny kills.

This MU revolves purely around dodging MK's dash attack and grab.

While he cannot optimally follow up after a down throw after certain high percentages, mainly in the 90-100% with a bit of rage on him, he can still kill after a down throw at 50-70% if he baits the scare dodge and then up-b's you to the ceiling.

However, while playing against MK keep in mind that it is NEVER an EVEN game -- one dash attack can reset the score board after a correct follow-up string to kill.

MK also has to mix up his landings either with crossing up a dimensional cape or d-airing back to safety which are things you can start to get a read on as the opponent reveals their habits.

Your Advantages
- needles
- solid bouncing fish follow ups at normal percents, meaning he's not super floaty
- your overall better neutral game with access to soft nair, fair, and the typical b moves

MK's Advantages
- a very solid percentage range, 15-25% depending by which he can kill you by making use of Sheik's fast fall speed
- raw kill power in fsmash, up b, and dimensional cape
- returning to stage is free either through up b, side b, or down b

In short, if you don't get dash attacked, the game relies more on Sheik's setting of the pace.

Otherwise you will likely die to uair strings since they are not that hard to get and the DI mix ups is all you can really do besides them messing up their inputs.

One MK ledge traps me by either going for a ledge trump bair (Kills STUPID EARLY), or reading a buffered jump or getupattack with jump nair, and downsmashes a roll. You can mess this up by doing a non-autostop vanish but he may predict this and hard punish with fsmash so be careful.
