Sheiks DPC is SUPER applicable and is awesome for spacing changes and mind games for sheik, since sheik is so fast it's not easy to see it coming, i decided to try it last night on shrink's olly and ended up getting a kill, with a sweet move like that i decided to share it's usefulness!

btw, do we have a sheik advanced tech thread?
if we don't we should get one started, including all of ankoku's stuff about shield pressuring, gimpy';s tactics, and whatever else anyone has to contribute

I'm guessing down smash with a little slide can catch someone off guard if they're trying to approach Sheik (which really doesn't make any sense in the first place).

alright so i've tried this out a little now.

Downsmash is actually rather useless. There is pretty much no backwards slide and Dsmash is not the best move at keeping people at bay... its good once your in there.

Fsmash i found to be semi useful. No theres no backwards slide due to sheik deciding to control momentum... but the sudden stop -> forward momentum from the smash can be quite surprising. You opponent now has to guess if your going to dash attack, boost smash or DPC Fsmash, each with its own timing.

Its not a big breakthrough to her game... just adds a little variety. Its not you go to kill technique... just a way of building dmg and maybe set up for the edgeguard (or give you time to switch for zelda)

This definitely has some use though...
