This is an example of just how strong Perfect Pivot is for Sheik. I cannot stress enough how much my punish game and damage output has improved from REALLY REALLY getting my Perfect Pivots down to where i can do them at will, to either side.
I'm sharing this combo of mine not to show off, but to hopefully convince my fellow Sheik mains to seriously consider implementing PPs.
Don't get me wrong, I know it's a lot of work practicing them.. but man is it worth it. Everything in this combo seems to be "true" except for the first FTilt to PP UpTilt, and obviously the Fair to Fair. The Fair to Bouncing Fish at the end of the video is guaranteed on most of the cast at around the given percents.
I hope you all take something away from this post. PLEASE start using Perfect Pivot! Not only for your combo game, but also to give you another tool to use in neutral.
One thing i find to work very well is Jab 2 to PP away. After the PP away you can FTilt to outspace their Jab, Jab 2 to cover the dash in, Needles to catch the Spot Dodge / Roll away, Single Needles for a little damage ( a little ), or even shield to wait for their next decision.
I hope this helps. If enough people ask, I'll do a write up on the ways to use PP in the neutral game, and ways to further extend your combos for maximum damage output using PP. Thanks for your time everyone!
Edit: Just to clarify, PP stands for Perfect Pivot in case you hadn't figured that already. 20XX? NO. More like 20PP.
Edit: I do a "series" on my YouTube showcasing some really cool Sheik Stuff. I'd reccomend you go check it out.
