shiek is easy to learn but its not that easy to get good at very high levels of play.
i am done with this thread its stupid and little queers like to get off on internet drama.

i am done with this thread its stupid and little queers like to get off on internet drama.

Kinda Sorta OK at Smash
Gonna touch on a few points.
1. I'm gonna say that I should have waited for more good footage over a period of a week or two (it would be less but I don't get to play very often) and then made a post with 4 vids in a progression of skill over a set of days rather than consecutive matches. Then there would have been one boring video, and some that got progressively more and more entertaining. I'm gonna admit that mistake up front.
2. Flaming, in general, is really gay. There have been A LOT of people in this post that showed that they thought this sucked WITHOUT flaming. Meanwhile, most of the flamers are people that are brand new to the site, they don't know that much about smash, and all they wanted to see and the only way they knew of how to gauge skill is by combos. Seriously, there is no need to hate, if you want to express your opinion, do it in a way that doesn't make you look like an ***.
3. Harm is funny. He comes to my thread and flames. Then people who shared the opinion that the thread sucked jumped on him for flaming. He then turns around flames them for flaming him and others come in and start bashing him even more. When he runs out of things to say he resorts to the opinion of Drephen as a backup plan, because nobody else was flaming me like he thought everyone should. Then, as we all know, he says that this thread is why the boards are becoming gay. So apparently, unbeknown to me and my 3 years of being a part of these boards it is "becoming gay" and I am partly to blame. Suurrrree.. I think we can all agree that the boards aren't any gayer than they have always been, except for the rush of people when the Brawl news came out, but that has since died down a bit. If anything Harm, the boards would get gay if more people like you posted harshly. You are talking about this "stupid little queers get off on internet drama" nonsense, when you in fact were a large part of starting the drama to begin with. I dare say if you didn't post and continue posting, there wouldn't have been drama, just people coming in and telling me the thread was trivial and boring :-P.

it doesnt really matter if you played sheik for 10 years. the video would still be boring. you pretty much have to emphasize how funny sheik is for it to be an entertaining video. like drephen's. even koreandj is boring to watch tho. only a few cool wall jump and up b tricks make me say oooooo.

He posted these vids to proove a point. He had close matches as his main, but then ***** them with shiek (Thats what happened, right?) Which clearly shows that Shiek > Mookie at ****** nubs.

first, whoever said kdj is not fun to watch as shiek is a ****ing moron (flame). HE DOESNT DSMASH. WHAT THE HELL.
same goes for watching isai's shiek
same goes for watching drephen's shiek
those 3 are the most unique shiek's in the game
other than that, everyone else's shiek (including mine) is boring as hell to watch. i would never make a combo video of my shiek or anyone else's for that matter unless it was comical as hell (all this ***** do is grab).

On a serious note, it is my opinion that isai and cj pwn every-f'in-body... but im heavily biased. KDJ on the other hand is just too good, and drephen is... well lets just say I aspire to use dsmash as well as him.
On topic, im not gonna try and give advice because although my reputation precedes me and my advice is worth it its weight in gold (0), too much advice can break individuality, with more experience you will probably figure out what you need to do and how. Also if it was your objective to teach your crew how to fight sheiks it's probably best to start from the ground up; like when you jab/reset marth to grabs in match 7 over and over thats probably not the best choice but its important for him to learn how to get out of it and he seemed to learn to avoid it a bit better as the match went on.
EDIT: CURSE YOU ZOSO, I wanted to intro cj to this debate...

Play against a sheik main. You will get own'd. It is very hard to play a sheik well.
