hey! I'm not the host of it or anything, but im posting here to give it more publicity. hope im in the right place...
Anywho, new anime/videogame/comic convention called Shadocon coming up in November (SAME dates as mlg dallas unfortunately
.) although it's new, the con is associated with metrocon, so it's gonna be legit. there are going to be multiple tournaments throughout the weekend- DDR, SC4, SF4, Brawl, etc. turnout for the tournament will most likely be pretty decent with all the normal con-goers.
dates: november 5-7 (the tournament is on saturday the 6th)
time: 6:00pm,according to the website
gameroom hours: 8am-3am (even longer than metrocon's gaming hours)

*weekend badge is $35 till October 23rd, otherwise, it's $40 for the weekend. a saturday only pass is $20.
location: crowne plaza hotel - Tampa east

not sure of the TO running it or about their rulesets, pot, etc. it'd be cool if we could get a TO from here to run it. it'd be even better if we could get melee in there! (: so whos down fo some tampa smashing?
