Captian N (I know Xianfeng "Not in a game doesn't have a chance" but your wrong)

Birdo is a girl and Captain N hasn't been in a game hasn't got a chance I'm not wrong plus Captain N is a nobody and Nobody wants an america only character it's as bad as a Japan only character

Okay.

So kaid, so from what you are saying, it would be okay to have one Mario (for this example, using SSBM Mario) with the attacks he had in Melee, yet make another Mario with a larger head and different shading, and call him Unique?

I don't care if a Cel-Mario made it in, nor would I be surprised.

Anyway, this concerns WW Link and Link. It doesn't matter about the difference in looks, the difference in attacks, etcetera. What matters is that it is the same person. I do not want two copies (not meaning clones) of one person in Brawl. I want one of each character, that is all. I could care less if they even kept Gannondorf equal to Captain Falcon in terms of attacks, the fact is, that Ganondorf is one of a kind character. Notice Ganon in Melee? I didn't.

This is not directed towards kaid though people, this statement is directed to all of those Paper Mario, Vacuum Luigi, and Bowser Jr. supporters out there. We have one of that character already, we don't need another. If Mario had an attack from the Paper Mario series, Luigi had an attack from his game, and the same for Bowser, that'd be fine however. I just don't want similar characters, regardless of their opposite stats and attacks, wasting space for the more unique characters that are wanted in.


I hope the half of you caught the sarcasm in the first part of my post.

Olimar, Krystal, and Ridley. Serious contenders- perfectly legit (and quite high as well) chances of appearing as PCs

basically, 1st party characters that were on the high on the list - the ones situated right next to Diddy, Dedede, Ike, and Lucus, whom we all know are now confirmed. Sakurai will probably just continue to check names off that list.

captain olimar is the only one who I dont see makng it s playable. his size to pikman number is a hard to figure out problem.

if he was to be able to have his pikman army(100 total) he would need to be very, very tiny for it to be fare. while if he was normal size(pichu's size area) then he might only have one of each color....

WAIT I may have figured out how he can get in. Pokemon trainer style. he sits in the back and throws pikman onto the stage. the number of pikman is still limited to onehundred and he losses lives by having s0-so many pikman defeated(i.e. knocked of the stage)

but this seems flawed though so I actualy dont think it would work. Olimar is a very hard problem to fix. I say he probably will be assist trophy.

size isn't an issue in brawl, and olimar could have an awesome move set

Sakurai said that the characters had to originate in video games, there seems to be an explict rule directly against Anime and Mango characters as well.

No Mango characters? What about Papaya characters? I really wanna get my passion-fruit on.

Yeah, I know it was a typo and that you meant 'Manga', but I just couldn't resist saying something. Partially because I got a great mental image of Goku getting beaned in the face with a mango. Good times.

Well, in that case, that's a very good question. I suppose with my obvious lack of knowledge on the topic, I can't really comment, though. I'm fairly certain I saw threads floating around for Isaac and Felix somewhere, though I'm not sure if they're still open.
