Self Piercing W/ safety pins

Has anyone ever done this?
Where did you pierce?
How much did it hurt?
Did you numb it with Ice cube or W/e
What did you use to clean up the needle and your skin? hydrogen peroxide?


thanks guys, I'm going as a punk to this darn fancy dress thing and I'm prolly gonna do thid, I reckon if its a disinfected safety pin and its only in for a day or so it should be fine, thoughts?

Done it a million times (lobe, cartlige, nose, monroe, snakebites, labret, septum, eyebrow, belly button, nipples), but theres a bit to know.

1) Clean it using 2 ways; rubbing alcohol and flame (flame first)
2) DEPENDING ON THE PIERCING, IT WILL NEED A DIFFERNT GAUGE. Saftey pins are an 18 gauge, like lobes (sometimes catalige), eyebrows, rooks, and nose. Most other piercings have different gauges (belly buttons, lip piercings, septum, industirals, conches, daiths, traguses, etc). The previous ususally START at 16 or 14. Look up the individual piercing gauge befoire you decide to pierce yourself.
3) If it becomes infected, TAKE IT OUT IMMEDIATLEY. I just had a double conch done (professionally) and I didn't clean it, went underwater, and in a hot tub and it got really, really, infected. Believe me, you don't want a permanant pus bubble where your previous piecing was.


Also:
-Facial piercings always will make your eye(s) tear up. It's generally a nerve thing.
-The thicker the catralige the more it will hurt. Nipples is the most painful I've dealt with.
-Jsyk I never numb myself when I pierce myself, but I do recomend it.
-Look online about ways to clean your piecing.

lol guys, I actually had to take them out for my job. I also ripped my one of my nipples that got caught the third day I had it, so I took those out too. Right now, I only have my right lobe and my left rook. I plan on getting a labret ring and a monroe soon. ^^

I've done the top of my ear a few times.

I have a terrible habit of losing the ring or whatever on the top of my ear.

I never numbed it before.

I really want to get my tongue pierced, have done for a while now.

They're certian piercings of the ear....maybe they're named after fish? Idk. I have a lot of experience in the piercing world so I know what they're called, lol.
