Natch(Snake) Vs. Camaman(Ness):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1nKJocIesQ

One vid only, sorry. As a note, I was trying out some traps today, so that's why you see those weird combinations.

That kill at 0:45 was completly intentional. I planned that series of moves in advance. The kill at 2:13 was semi-intentional. I was deliberatly doing a mixup to my series of attacks, but I didn't expect that paticular result. I was just concentrating on making sure I didn't screw up.

Anyways, keep in mind I was heavily experimenting today. I don't usually use Fsmash like that, for instance. Also, I lose in this one, but the KOs were just too cool not to record it.

Update: More vids. The first one is prior to me doing that Nade->Mortar->Fsmash spiel. I was using more Fsmash than usual that day, but besides that it's pretty much how I play "normally." The second video is on the same day as the Snake V Ness one, but it was later in the day, after I stopped experimenting so much.

Also, ignore the stupid mistakes.

does he usually play ness?

I see a liberal use of PKThunder in the beginning when Snake is clearly in **** position

but still, nice Fsmash

PKThunder2 rules ... ... ... But not as much as Snake.

More of thine spacing with thine ftilt, and more of thy camping.

Seriously, ftilt RULES (even more than PKThunder2).

Space with it, set up for an edgegaurd because it should be stale.

I only saw you use it once, maybe twice.

Use it more.

When going for KOs, use utilt.

Fresh, it can straight out kill D3 at 123%.

Yeah.

Ness was surviving way to long in combat. You should have camped, or just used thine utilt.

When your a stock ahead damage on him=good.
When your a stock ahead damage on you=no difference, pretty much.
^ That's only when your fairly evenly matched though.

I usually do spam the hell out of Ftilt, and go for Utilt KOs. I was just experimenting that night. I'll upload some more matches from that day.

If you want us to accurately judge and help you, you need to upload a vid of you playing like you normally do.

True. However, I do plan to incorporate the 'Nade->Mortar->RPG combo into my game from now on. It's too good.

That was a nice little combo :) Still, I'd like to see some of you playing a serious match.

Erm, he was playing to win I believe. In any case, what you can rate me on is weather or not my explosion combos are good, and are tournament viable.

Of the explosive tricks I saw, the nade/mortar/Fsmash was the best, but I really only think it applies as an edgeguard like you used it the first time. I wouldn't do it on stage, there are too many ways around it.

I was thinking about that too. On stage, I can omit the Fsmash, and then it makes for good zoning.

If you see them jumping over to land behind you, do it by all means. There's less lag that it looks like after the Fsmash, if they avoid it they probably won't be able to punish.

Watched the new ones. Falco is a really challenging matchup, so it's alright that you had so much trouble. I'd use your crawl more, but you need to learn how to deal with what a Falco will do in the situation. If he phantasms, shield. If he SHdairs, you uptilt him.

I think in general, you're trying too hard with explosives and not utilizing Snakes other moves enough. You're especially using the Fsmash too much. It's got ridiculous knockback, but you're just not going to connect with it against a decent player. The only time I ever use it is to punish someone rolling behind me.

If you learned to space the Ftilt a little better and threw in some Dtilt and full hop nair, I think you'd see a big jump in effectiveness.

I like how you're doing a lot of creative things with the explosives, but that's only half of Snake's game. Take advantage of how completely broken and overpowering his close game is.

That's what I'm trying to find a balance of. To give an example of much I use to use his other moves, I had C-stick set to Tilts shortly after I started using him. Unfortunately, you can't SDI with C-Stick set to Tilts.

I just watched the matches. In my opinion, all I have to say is that you need to use snake's close range moves more. Also, I would like to say that you're not using the c4 to limit the player's mobility.
