SD Yoshies Present: Team Tourney Challenge- Saturday Midnight first deadline

This tournament will start on Wednesday, June 25th and will run through the next Wednesday

The Rules:
-2v2.
-3 Stock.
-No time limit.
-Team attack ON
-No items allowed
-All matches are to be best 2/3, then the finals will be best 3/5.
-If your team fails to contact/respond you will be disqualified.


Stages allowed:
-Final destination.
-Battlefield.
-Lylat cruise.
-Yoshi island (brawl).
-Corneria (melee).
-Smashville.
-Delfino plaza.

*All other stages are banned

Also, please note, if there is lag occurring we ask you to remember that there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. So you will have to play through it.

-No johns
-No DC'ing

Chaco, what do you think about switching friendly fire to on? That way it would prevent a spamming team where spammers can go unpunished. It would also encourage more careful cooperation between teammates.

Only downside I see to it is the fact that communication is near non-existent due to the fact that it's online, and also that lag could potentially screw over teammates with friendly fire on.

Enough of the false majestic attitude.Anyway, I say the Team Attack On is a great idea. Team battles can get bland, but with friendly fire, it adds more to strategy than to just get all smash happy.

To be fair you started it....

Team Attack On does help stop any cheap tactics (Like a certain team spamming U-Smash, not pointing any fingers), I support it

F*ck, I'd have to actually be careful with Pikmin Toss. Imagine the hell I'd cause if I got a few Pikmin latched onto Stroupes...

I like it, then Snake has to be used Carefully.

I'm switching Team Attack to ON.

Very well, then. Darkness often has its backfires. It should pose no problem for Nirvana and I. Faded Heart agrees with the rule.

Exactly. Which is why we would have to arrange tactics and new techniques. You can't just say, "Hey, my friend make an awesome team. Let's join and rock the tourney". That pretty much means they have great teamwork. But with Team Attack On, they are handicapped, and will have to start from scratch like everyone else.
