I made a blog post about this a few months ago, but it wasn't very successful and I also changed the subject a bit. I'll give it another try.

I'm sure a lot of you have watched those Youtube videos with an Australian guy asking Americans about general stuff, like "Where is Iran on this map?". I want to do something similar for my school project.

It involves measuring general knowledge, but I'll need people to help me, since I couldn't possibly do this on my own. What I need people to do is to help me gather statistics for me. I need people from different parts of the US (and the rest of the world, if possible) to ask a few questions about stuff people "should" know to at least 15 people and see how well they do. Examples are "Can you locate Europe on this map" and "Is this a picture Josef Stalin or not?".

I will need help by as many as possible. If you want to join me and if you're serious about this, let me know.

tl;dr: Help Frown find out if your friends are stupid.

So this is general knowledge of everybody, not just America?
Because you said "and from the rest of the world, if possible".

I'd be willing to ask a few people over here questions such as that.

I'm a bit confused as to how this will happen. Do you just ask us stuff here? Are there any requirements?

For the time being, I'd be happy to help out.

Basically, you're gonna ask 20 or so people in your age about very simple stuff. You note down how many answers they get right, and I will gather the results and compare them.

I like that, I tried it too in my hometown but just for fun.

For bringing Germany in your statistics, I'd be happy to help.

LOL, I read something once where 100 students at my former high school were shown pictures of people [back in O8]. All of them got George Bush, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, & Saddam Hussein, but 5 of them got Osama Bin Ladin Wrong [95/100 got it right]. Only 15 knew Nancy Pelosi [the Speaker of the House of Representatives], & none of them knew Ted Kennedy.

It's scary how stupid people can be. Like my next door neighbors are from Iran, but they refer to themselves as "Persians" [Persia was renamed Iran like 50 to 80 years ago] so they don't get labeled as terrorists, & so many people say to them "Oh! I hear that's a nice country," LMAO!

Anyways, I'll be willing to do it-if we get some questions to ask, lol. I could even do it at a smash tourney or two, lol! [BTW I live in California for geographical reference]

Representing Oman.

Will you give us questions? Or do we make them up ourselves?

"Where is Mongolia on this map?"
"Who is this (showing a picture of Kim Jong Il)?"

Questions like that?
