Thanks to the one and only Trumaneezy (hkt.dusk), Santa Cruz will be hosting its very first tournament on February 19th, 2012! I know this is a Sunday but the following day is President's Day which means no school/work, etc. So don't make any excuses!

Location:
University of California, Santa Cruz
1156 High Street
Santa Cruz CA, 95060

Directions once you reach campus:
-CALL ME, JOE, TRUMAN, OR SHERIDAN. But if you want to be independent, go through the East Entrance of the campus. Once inside continue straight. You should pass 3 stoplights, but continue going straight. You will go up a huge hill, into the woods, and eventually come to a stop sign. Go straight to the second stop sign and you should see a sign that says Merrill/Crown College apartments that points to the right. Go right and go all the way up to the top then park and call someone. So you really should just call one of us anyway. Or try this, http://maps.ucsc.edu/content/7287/map_detail

Rules:
-4 stocks
-8 minute time limit
-First to 2 wins advances (best out of 3)
-Winners/Losers Semi-Finals, Winners/Losers-Finals and Grand Finals are best of 5 matches (3 out of 5)
-Double Elimination
-Items Off

Stages:
Singles Neutrals:
Final Destination
Dream Land 64
Battlefield
Yoshi's Story
Fountain Of Dreams

Singles Counterpicks:
All Neutral Stages +
Pokemon Stadium
Kongo Jungle 64

Brinstar and Rainbow Cruise are not available counter picks =(

Doubles Neutrals:
Final destination
Dream Land 64
Battlefield
Yoshi's Story
Pokemon Stadium
Sheridan's Deep Norcal Rule - Fountain of dreams may be played on Doubles if agreed to by both teams, or if Sheridan says so.

Doubles Counterpicks:
Neutrals +
Kongo Jungle 64
Brinstar
Rainbow Cruise

Entry fee: Assume $5 singles, but open to discussion to make it cheaper
Doubles - Assume $10 per team, but also open to discussion
Venue fee: $1 (helps raise money for the club)

Payouts:
1st: 60%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%
Parking:
- Parking is free on weekends as long as you don't park in University vehicle spaces and if you do so you're ******** and deserve the ticket.

Host rules:
- This is a University room that is reserved under Truman's name, so don't be a ****ing ****** and mess anything up <3

Contact us or post if you have any questions:
Call/text (510)691-9921 for me
Call/text (626)246-4401 for Truman
Call/text (805)990-3776 for Joe (Replicate)

You guys should also come down Saturday night and me/Joe/Truman could house you guys and we can have adult-like festivities beforehand (I'm looking at you Boback).

Should be about 60 yards, or a longass staircase, depending on where you want to park.

I'll ask dajuan to edit this into the OP as well,

but the easiest way to google maps directions to the venue is to just maps:
Chinquapin Road, Santa Cruz, CA

any parking lot you see after getting on to that road should be fine. (the nearer to the end the better)
