Thanks, Kovu. Now the problem that I need addressed is cash. I'm laid off until August at the earliest so I can't earn the money that is required to rent out the building. That is the bad news. Other than that, I think that I have my ducks lined up in a row.

Okay, I finally have a update. I figured out my budget, and I realize that the Emanuel building is not economically feasible. Therefore, I have selected an alternative site.

Where: La Quinta Inns & Suites Fort Worth - Lake Worth
Address: 5800 Quebec St. Fort Worth, TX 76135
Why did I select the venue? Because I figure that the building has plenty of room in the meeting facility for a reasonable sized tournament(I'm going to look at it in the next few days to make sure), plus I could potentially get a discount to renting the place if people stay in the hotel. Rooms will regularly run about $82 a night for a king sized bed($92 for twin Queen beds), double occupancy. The basic rooms also feature a microwave and refrigerator so you can keep your sodas cold and cook your cup ramen at the same time. I was going to recommend this hotel for out of town players anyway, so it all works out well in the end.
Another reason why I could fall in love with the venue is because I could potentially hold tournaments over two or three days if I wanted to without paying outrageous fees to secure the venue.

Hey in Killeen Texas we are holding a big tournament for Brawl and possibly Melee, Killeen is about an hour away from Austin and 3 from Dallas and San Antonio equally, so check this out, thanks =]
