technically that can be true, chu isnt one of the best for fun, theres a reason.

there is no best character though sadly, just preferable matchups. its all about the player.

I am assuming you are being sarcastic, if not I never said doc was the best character, nor did I even say he was better then sheik. even though he does have a doctrine and makes more money then sheik does.

why does that make me a tool? are there a lot of indie bands from brooklyn? if so most must suck because the only one I listen to is Les Savy Fav. Most good indie bands are from midstates.
I play guitar in an instrumental band, it is not even really indie rock its post rock. Like mogwai, explosions in the sky, or godspeed. I said indie because no one really knows what post rock is. Besides guitar I play drums, piano, viola, cello, stand up bass, ocarina, accordian and I listen to all genre's of music. I write more music by myself then with my band and that would be all genre's of music. if that makes me a tool then I guess tools are awesome and I would like to meet your friends.

In NYC hipster's and yuppies might be different but they both have the same bad connotations so it really doesn't matter. They are pseudo intellectuals who think they know something and want to talk about it at starbucks + they might do drugs.

but here's some facts:
1) people who play in indie rock bands tend to be tools
2) if you say you play in an indie rock band and are from brooklyn, it makes you sound like a hipster. does it mean you are one? no. when i talked to people i know from nyc/upstate new york, they all said that most of the hipsters in the area either live or want to live in brooklyn. and even outside new york, a lot of people look at brooklyn as one of the main 'hipster spots' in the country.
3) i understand why you would say indie rock instead of post rock, but you can't then get upset when someone says something based on what you said, not what you meant but didn't say.

no hard feelings though, right?

you know what, I totally agree with everything you said, and as a matter of fact I do the same to a lot of people myself. I did realize how close to being a hipster/yuppie/artsy kid I am but I try so hard not to be like that. Its a tough world out there, when music you like might associate you with hipster kids. thats the sad fact of point number 2. and number 3 is very true, I guess it was a bad idea to say I was in an indie band from brooklyn, lol, I really dont hang out with the scene kids and all the indie rockers and dont really know how big the indie scene is here. I just got upset I guess because im usually the guy calling someone else a tool for being in an indie band. those guys brush their hair and drink more bubble tea then they play music. i try hard not to be like that lol.
