Samus is my worst match up.......... Help.

Ok here is the deal............ i Play Captain Falcon, but i cant find a way to beat samus, even if i switch my characters i cant beat samus................ CF is my main, and i know that CF is good against Samus. Can i have sum tips, and combos to beat samus with CF. Thanks!

Grab as much as possible.
D-throw->nair/uair->knee combos work well against Samus, just watch out for her nair.

Bait grabs and knee.

Downthrow -> knee at the right percentages for guaranteed kills.

And if the Samus CCs a lot, try making it so you knee/dair through Samus. That way you end up a safe distance away rather than right in front of them. And if they spotdodge, not fastfalling a sh knee can hit them or just pausing right before kneeing.

And simply don't nair if your not able to avoid getting dsmashed, grab or aerial through instead.

everyone hates samus she just SUCKS, there is no way to beat her without being gay but if you do play gay you absolutely **** her

listen here is the deal with samus, she loses vs you on the ground and she loses vs you in the air. shffl nair is stupid because she can cc dsmash, but cc is bad for everyone in the game vs CF because you have an awesome dair and a knee. spam the hell out of it if you see a cc coming and she won't be able to do anything about it

grabs are ****, people think you can't grab combo samus but you can, uthrow uairs or dthrow nair/uairs work fine, and dthrow knee combos vs various DI at higher %s

if she ever jumps then lol game over, uair the crap out of her. upB OOS is really good for her but just be smart and it won't do anything besides annoy you. missiles can be good too but just be wary of them when you're recovering and nair through them onstage, you'll be fine

also if she ever fsmash or dsmashes your shield, you can knee her no questions asked. if bad comes to worst most of the time you can just bait her smashes and get her offstage from there. edgeguarding samus is easy, drop down bair her or her bombs, and drop down dj uair when she teathers

A couple questions.....


When juggling uairs on samus, do you have to space them well (for the threat of the nair) or is there enough hitstun for it to not matter? (Although I suppose it's a good habit to space them well anyway...)

What kinds of things can you do when a falling from air samus is using bombs? Should one just try to predict and avoid the bombs and get uairs in there, or are there other options?

your uair outprioritizes her nair, but yeah i guess you sort of have to space it so you hit her and don't run into her nair

but in general just hit her with the uair and it'll win

bombs are pretty worthless, they're just annoying, you can uair through them i think but i would recommend taking a breather and keeping your tech skill warm while she's stalling

ps it's really easy to play gay with falcon, just don't approach and spam spaced high-priority aerials
