Behold: startling new evidence from the creator himself!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl 2 has begun! Sakurai selects "yes"!

This post is intended to poke fun at absurd speculation. Hopefully, it brought a smile to your face as we all long for Feb. 10th.:) Brawl will give us plenty of things to eagerly await without having to worry about a sequel—let's enjoy it as best we can, eh? Even if Sakurai doesn't make another Smash sequel (as many are speculating), we can be happy he's spending so much effort on making Brawl.

I laffed out loud

Although...I have a cold, it was a coughy laugh..

Anyway, even if Sakurai dosn't make a sequal, Miyamoto will, and I think the series is alright in his hands.

But if Brawl is the last one, I hope that all the next console have backwards compatability and wifi will never be shut down.

I do trust Miyamoto, he's only a god when it comes to creating. Although he's 62-years-old I think, I don't see him in six or seven more years trying to make a sequal. I like how you stated that if this is the last smash you hope it has backwards compatability with wi-fi. I hope so too if this is the last smash, I doubt it though, this will end up in a young guys hands and he'll know what to do from there. :)

I know this thread will get closed, which is a shame. It has a point, that if people get the slightest whiff of any "hints" or "patterns" that don't exsist, they'll turn it into full-blown speculation.

The minute you admit this is a joke thread, is the minute it becomes limp and uninteresting.
Kind of like my long, hard single player.

I'd be a little surprised if this thread was closed, WolfCypher, or at the very least, I'd want a good explanation! I actually *gasp* bothered to read the rules before making it to make sure I wasn't breaking any! The most applicable section of the rules is the "spam" section, methinks:
-------
Quoted from the Forum Rules:
3. Spamming This is a biggie. SPAM (Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages) is a problem at every message board, and Smash World Forums are no exception. It's the crap that gets closed, and doesn't enrich the topics. Intentional or not, don't make posts that are lame, go for substance. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you shouldn't be on these boards.
One-line post, no substance, "lame post" - 1 point (for each infraction), 1 week length
Minor Spamming - 1 points (for each infraction), 2 weeks length
Major Spamming - 3 points (for each infraction), 2 weeks length
Excessive Spamming - automatic banning
--------
The 2 questions I ask myself:
Is this enriching the topics? - I'd like to think so. A bit of humor with a mutually shared subject: speculation.

Is this a "one-line", "no substance" or "lame post"? - Although it's close to a one-liner, I make the point that speculation regarding a Brawl sequel is silly and that we should simply be content knowing that we're getting a quality Brawl. Granted, it's not the most profound of "substance" to discuss, but it's not simply a one-liner. :)

All that being said, I don't see why this thread should be closed ... and if it is, I ask the Moderators to "Show me their moves!" and counter my logic! It's far better to be an informed forum member with a closed thread than an ignorant forum member with a closed thread. :)

I felt it was safer to admit the joke immediately and get on with the reminder rather than risk a massive flame war ... we all know that on message boards like these, wit that is too dry can easily burst into flames.:p

The flame war would've been hilarious though.

And then all the smart people would come in and totally give the flamers a wake up call. It would've been fun. Ah well.

I doubt that Smash Bros is safe in Miyamato's hands after this. He would just make a Brawl 2.0 (it would Probably be called Super Smash Bros Brawl 2 as well) when Sakurai would make something brand new(how many other words for fighting are ther anyways!?)
