if u guys dont already know, brawl is REALLY REALLY fun when u play FFA's with friends, with items on.

i never played melee competitively until after brawl came out, so yea i actually have

and, as a casual player, i can safely say that it was obscenely boring LOL

all i remember thinking was "wow everyone moves so slow in this game. and i can't do dash attack to fsmash with marth like i could in melee or anything like that anymore... and i can't hit people away from the ledge when they try to recover... and snake is soooo boring omg. his forward tilt is really good though i guess ill just spam it"

competitive melee players grossly underestimate casual players' ability to "feel" a game lol

So was melee, and this is coming from a 100% casual view of melee.

IMO he fixed what wasn't broken...
