Yea it's gonna be sad. Inks is going to a region where there's no legitimate arcades (eh, boardwalk), and very few smashers.

But Inks, here's a couple places you should hit up if you're going to be on the coast:

First of all, the best pizza place is Gianni's Pizza, located on Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey. They know how to ****ing do the pizza right, better than any place I've been to IN ALL OF NORCAL. Seriously, anyone up in Monterey/Seaside/Salinas who tells you that Gianni's isn't the best is ****ing nutz and/or hasn't been there. Only problem is that it's a ***** to get parking.

Breakfast ... go to First Awakenings. Big, massive servings of whatever you want. There's two locations: Salinas is always busy but has the hotter women servers. There's also one in Pacific Grove.

Drinks ... My co-workers loved the Mucky Duck. I don't drink, so I'm only going off of word of mouth. If you go on Alvarado in Monterey, there's a few spots to go to, so I guess you can pick and choose.

Glenn, I remember when you use to post tournaments that were occurring in the Monterey area a couple of years ago and I was planning on going to one of them because i have family there but didn't quite make it. Thanks a lot for the recommendations, I'll go to those when i get the chance.

God dammit J66, i was about to start this thread. What a ****.

Rep superfriends for us in norcal.

Jose is the sole reason/influence for half of the 818 smasher's existence in competitive play, including superfriends and the rise of 8bit/mike haze/larry, you name them. I couldn't talk to anyone in the 818 without them mentioning "we've been practicing with inks".

Seriously, he's done more for socal than most cocky players who try to take credit for building this community. I hope you come back some day man.
