Mother Reps (I added Palutena because she's just widely accepted and didn't feel the need):

I think that Porky is fine. If we were to even get another Mother rep. Never mind. I just noticed that you don't have Lucas on the list. So just Lucas, I suppose.

I'm going to argue here. I really want another Mother Rep other than Lucas. While he is deserving and already a character, and I loved him as a character, I would like to see other Mother Representation.

Blurry roster is blurry. But the roster itself isn't bad at all.

And I couldn't even tell who the character underneath Mega Man and next to Mr. G&W was at first, but when I zoomed in it looks like it's a group of Final Fantasy classes.

I actually like this roster a lot, having Toon Zelda/Tetra, Bowser Jr. Ridley, Mewtwo, Little Mac and Palutena. The FF classes could be interesting. Plus, you kept the Jiggs and Falco.

My only complaints are the Mii and that Impa replaced Sheik.

Impa would have the same moves a sheik, I just think sheik was outdated. It was fine that he was in melee. But the only reason he was in brawl was because when it was being developed, sheik was planned for twilight princess, but when twilight princess came out, brawl was too late in development to take him out

I would like to see it too. It doesn't mean I think it will happen. Mother isn't necessarily a big part of Nintendo anymore. However, I wouldn't really be too surprised if Sakurai's bias translates into getting another rep like Porky. I just don't think it is too likely.

Plus, we still don't know the fourth playable Kong is, so such statements are nothing but baseless assumptions.

K. Rool gets considered because he's popular. Like super popular. Like he's stared in games that tens of millions of people played. Like, more people have played his games than Smash many.

K. Rool ends up being playable and sticking out amongst all the considered characters because he's got a ton of moveset, skillset, and playstyle potential. Like more moveset potential than any other potential newcomer, and it isn't even close.

I hope the 4th playable Kong is Candy Kong. Just throwing that out there.

Mother is very small though. It doesn't sell well and is not known by many people through anything but Smash. That being said, Mother getting 3 reps is a bit ridiculous. That would give it more representation than Metroid and DK, two of Nintendo's biggest and most important franchises. If you have extra space, add K. Rool.

I never said he wasn't popular man

those are all good reasons he should be in smash but I think his move set potential isn't as important as we think (its all about the popularity man)

I'm trying to make this, at least, one of the most accepted rosters. I have my own want-roster posted... I think like 100 pages back.

Mother is small, and it definitely should not have 3 reps. I wish it was bigger of course, it's one of my personal favorite Nintendo series.

If there is space, I'm adding K. Rool. That was part of my plan since the DK reps were chosen.

I predicted four years ago that the next generation will see or two big third party companies fall due to overspending on graphics-related technology or having too many random executives.

I think currently Activision, EA, and Capcom are definitely in that mode. Nintendo is kinda like that too (many of their top guys need retirement packages to leave).

As it stands, Capcom is pretty close to going under, THQ (not that big but still big) went under, and other smaller companies have gone under. As it stands, EA is having sales troubles, Square Enix had a lot of financial issues a few years back, and quite frankly, I doubt Activision's model will continue to succeed, after they had Guitar Hero and DJ Hero fail on them.

Nintendo is safe as a Jigglypuff that eat his vegetables, practice a sport and sleep well, seriously Nintendo has bigger guns in what to fall if even the situation turns from bad to worse to ****, there is one game that can turn everything around for Nintendo if the time comes "Pokemon MMO". The problem with Activision is that they milk so hard a lot of their series that people don´t bother again with those games, other company that is going straight to bottom is Ubisoft (they're saving grace is Watch Dogs, Far Cry, and to a lesser extent Rayman and Assassin´s Creed (this one has been milked so hard that I can say that at least in two years the series will need to take a break like for 8 years to start been relevant again, maybe Ubisoft will take another chance with Prince of Persia).

The funny thing about this though, is that the Mewtwo in the Genesect movie is a wild Pokemon, and yet it could still mega evolve.

Wasn't it like Genetically altered to have the Mega Evolution stuck in him?

Honestly, I only want Ness. But I expect Lucas to return, and everyone else will tell you that he's going to and he should.
Porky would be awesome, but unlikely I'm afraid.

Even though Porky is a recurring villian, Ninten is the most likely and deserving choice if Mother got another rep. It would complete the trio of protagonists, represent the first Mother game and redesigning him wouldn't be an issue at all. Not to mention he can use PK Beam. Trust me on this! Ninten is the only reason there would even be 3 Mother reps in the first place.
(If it weren't for the hat he'd be a shoe-in.)

However, Meowth has kept up his importance, unlike Ninten and Ninten already looks alot like Ness, so there are some differences between the 2.

Too bad that game is idea is a terrible one and it will never happen. Since Black & White versions we have basically had a "explore the world with your friends" mode.

I think what you are trying to refer to is "OMG! EXPLORE ALL DUH REGUNNSSS!!!"

Also, if Nintendo had these guns before, they would have played them on the GameCube when that console failed (despite being vastly superior to the Wii in terms of library, and having like 3 or 4 games better than the Wii's best game).

If Nintendo is so safe though, why has the Wii U been such a failure so far=??? And why doesn't Nintendoland, NEW SMB U, or Pikmin 3 have online=???

The problem with Nintendo is that they keep relying on Shiggy even though he isn't that great anymore (he should retire and live out and enjoy the rest of his life IMO), their top execs are too old and diluted, and they can't get any of the basics right.

Oh, and they don't trust Western Developers, which is why they lost a ton of Retro Studios' best staff to studios like 343 Games. Nintendo is literally shooting themselves in the foot in the West. If they were smart, they'd double Retro Studios' size in 5 years, rekindle up the old Rare top crew, and start a few studios in Europe before Sony and Microsoft kill them there with developers like they did in America.

Double Dash is usually considered the best Mario Kart game

The fact you said Ubisoft is going to the bottom is laughable. You just listed off like 6 great IP's that are making tons of money, and you didn't even mention the Rabbids series, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, or Ghost Recon, all of which are great series (well minus the Rabbids).

Ubisoft is arguably the best and most well off third party in the world. Far Cry is better off then ever before. Assassin's Creed while hiccuping at III is still a strong and somewhat quality IP, Rayman has been nothing but amazing, Watch Dogs looks incredible, and Prince of Persia is always awesome.

If you wanted to fail hard, you just did. Seriously, you can't "milk off" Far Cry 3 and Rayman Legends if those games are THAT GOOD!!!

PSI unique to MOTHER 1, and he's a retro character who has had no incarnation outside his original artwork so just redesign him like Pit. In a way "Ninten is too Ness" is kind of similar to"Ridley is too big", because you can re size and redesign characters.

At least he wouldn't be as bland as Chrom.

I also think Cranky Kong was definitely heavily considered for Smash Wii U and 3DS. Personally, I think he would make a great "less than expected" or "WTF!?!?!?" playable character no matter what he dies. There's just sooooo many ways he could be nothing spectacular!
