WOW! How ironic when you've done nothing but spew out bias opinion to back up your baseless argument. I actually just made a post proving that Tabuu is not generic. I told you he matters to Nintendo because he was a major villian in Super Smash Brothers Brawl which is one of the highest regarded Nintendo games regardless of whether you like him or not. You can hate King K. Rool, but that doesn't make him not important to Donkey Kong series.

So far your argument has basically been that some people don't like Tabuu or think he's dumb. That's a weak argument to say someone isn't gonna be playable.

I haven't been showing evidence because this has been an argument without any evidence, my argument is that tabuu has no popularity, your post generically compile of your opinion not proof, a villain in a game mode that has a one shot appearance only makes him important by opinion, stop using your opinion as fact

The idea of a playable Tabuu isn't a new one... it goes back to when Tabuu was first leaked and people didn't know his role in the game...

The reason it's never caught on is because it's not a very good idea.

Of what? I'm seriously curious of where this 90% poll is. And why should I take that as advice? I'm sure if there was a Wii Fit Trainer polll before the reveal it would have been 90%. Are there supposedly anti-requests of Tabuu sent to Sakurai? Cuz otherwise it's existence is meaningless.

Wii Fit Trainer is the mascot of one of Nintendo's best selling games. Tabuu is the end boss in a campaign not many people liked. There is huge a difference.

Purposely skewing a character's balance based on canonical strength isn't a problem, as it's not something the developers do.

I never said I liked Tabuu. Do you have it hard for everyone on your roster too? Since logically predicted characters are loved characters. Also like everyone on this site is discussing it so me dropping the subject affects nothing.

His move-set would obviously be adjusted. He isn't going to port over "boss" Tabuu and call it a day.

I ended up making a moveset for Lip for the heck of it, l think something like this would be pretty cool:

B: Panel Attack: Lip fires a randomly colored panel onto the stage, with each color having an elemental affinity corresponding to her fairy friends. She can fire multiple panels and stack them. Hitting any of them after they've been placed will swap their position with a panel next to it or fire the panel off in the direction it was hit towards for damage. Getting three or more of the same color in a row will fire a magic blast in the direction it was hit towards for greater damage that multiplies the bigger the combo. Other players can fire the panels off at Lip too if she doesn't act first.

Side B: Flower Rod (Aka: Lip's Stick): Lip cast's fairy magic towards foes that causes a small, medium, or large sized flower to grow on the opponent. It leeches life like the current item does.

Down B: Garbage Block: Lip creates a garbage block above her if she's on the ground or below her if she's airborne. The size of this block is determined to how many combos she last created with her neutral B attack. It can be used to smash foes or as a recovery move by creating one near the ledge of the stage, allowing a safe landing. There is a small chance of getting a metal block which has a higher smash value.

Up B: Wataboh: Lip releases her little bird/fairy pet upwards giving her an upwards boost and the ability to glide shortly. Wataboh is held onto by a chain and can be be thrown at foes or held onto for better airborne mobility.

Final Smash: Panel De Pon: Lip jumps into the foreground and a game of panel de pon starts. For each combo cleared a giant garbage block falls above a foe. Lip has a few seconds to get as many combos as she can before jumping back into the fray.

I believe there are exceptions, such as Vaati and Robin, so no, that's not a rule here.
