It was the same thing with Starfy, most would confuse him with a Mario Galaxy character if he was included.

The plot of the SNES game involves Lip, the fairy of flowers, having to save the fairy kingdom from the demon lord Thantos. She defeats her friends one by one and frees them from his mind control spell and together they enter his realm and defeat his minions. After defeating him they face one final enemy, Cordelia, whom upon defeat turns out to be Lip's mother, the queen of faires. It turns out the entirety of the game was a test to determine if Lip was ready to become the new queen.

The gamecube sequel then stars her daughter, Furil, along with the chidren of the other fairies.

Lip makes an appearance in the latest Panel de Pon game for the DS as a unlockable stage and she also cameoed in Captain Rainbow alongside Little Mac and Takamaru. Her weapon is an item in melee and brawl called Lip's stick and one of kirby's down-b transformations is her garbage block attack. Her theme song is also in brawl:

Very few people care if the SSE characters return, most hope they don't, they weren't well received. Tabuu isn't as unpopular as some of the other original-to-Brawl characters, but he certainly can't claim to be a "popular" character.

Because Sakurai cares about the Smash fans that ***** about Toon Link and all that.

Obviously Sakurai listens to feedback. SSB4 being faster than Brawl, tripping removed, adventure mode changed, Sakurai being wary of cuts? He doesn't change everything fans complain about, because fans complain about everything, but he listens.

Most people liked TL overall.

Since when has that mattered? Sakurai doesn't add his characters because they're his characters.

Ok, there's some confusion here. I posted it with the intent to get feedback on the organization, not what choices I picked. He responded to it saying something about the choices, to which I reminded him what I was asking about in the first place. I wasn't using the organization as an excuse for the characters, I was pointing out that I had never asked about characters in the first place.

You'll have to dig kinda deep, but it's worse than Miiverse. They think the Ice King, Squidward, ect., could be playable. Although Miiverse could have suggested such characters before and I just don't know it. At the very least, it's as bad as Miiverse.

Tabuu is about as popular as Brawl. I don't need a source for that. If you don't like him fine. But that doesn't make him worthless. He's 10x more important and well known than Muddy Mole is.
