It's a "yes" or "no" question.
Your tactics are despicable and abusive, and you offer no consideration for the other's points, you simply maintain and close yourself off to everything.
More to the point, the trap you set was easily foiled and you resorted to stubbornness.
If I were SchAlternate, I would have refused to answer your question.
I hope that you will avoid doing so in the future, instead addressing the underlying premise and source of the argument as far to the roots as is relevant.
I do assume your motives and positions in the above, so in truth I believe those assumptions woefully inaccurate, and below is what I believe truly happened in this altercation.
Going with the motive that becomes obvious after reading a bit, you simply seemed not to know, and were asking a question to which you did not know the answer. . .
. . . but some of your follow-up can easily be misinterpreted as having an ulterior motive, far too easily.
I would advise stating your motives in an as polite and sincere manner as possible as soon as you think someone misinterprets them, so people do not so readily assume the worst.
