I'd say I'd go with Bowser. Most important after Mario himself, Nintendo's biggest villain, and is more than recolor.

Alright, this is actually something I have been thinking about the past few days, and I have decided that it would be a huge shame to lose Dedede.
He's unique, funny, and extremely balanced tbh.
Meta Knight is great, but I love Dedede more, and although I would be upset to lose both, Dedede is more important and overall the better fitting character.
Not that either of them are leaving.

Luigi is my favorite character in Mario, but seriously? I wouldn't want a clone over Bowser! He is obviously the second most important Mario character. I mean without Bowser, there wouldn't be Mario AND Luigi. Peach is one of the more unique characters in terms of gameplay though. I would still go with Bowser.

Haha. I still view him as a clone. Even with all of the changes, it is mostly because I am butt hurt that Sora Ltd. didn't add the Poltergust. I was mostly comparing the 3.

If it's 50, well I expect no cuts really.

I expect that we will be capped at 50. I don't think Sakurai will go past that number, realistically speaking. However, I do not think that we will reach 50 this time around. I feel like a good clean number like 45 makes sense. Give or take a few (of course).

So out of the original twelve, how many of their villains showed up?
Yoshi, Captain Falcon, Ness, Donkey Kong, Samus
Bowser kinda counts for Yoshi. Mewtwo can be seen as a villain for the pokemon, he was just beaten into submission.
Captain Falcon and Ness might not get a villain and I would not count that as a big loss.
But DK and Samus without their villains is starting to seem like a glaring omission.

Finally something good, I expect 50. with the bigger staff and probably no cuts, i'd say 15 more is good for both games.

I would be surprised if Mother got a villain character, what they have now is probably all theyre going to get.
Unless F Zero gets some new games, I have a feeling that there wont be any additional characters added, let alone a villain.
