Is their anyway to cancel it in midair? I hate it when you fly in a different direction and kill yourself. Its a pain in the ***.

No, there isn't. The only reason it cancels on the ground is because you end up hitting the ground. :p

btw this would have been a lot more appropriate in the Q&A thread. :o
