Is this shield>shine>waveshine backwards> jab? Crazy. I can't seem to wd far enough to jab Falco. Do I need to walk after, or wd farther? (Sorry Mike for answering a question with a question.)

if you cant jab after u need to wavedash farther. U can do it both ways with a proper wavedash (backwards and forwards).

If you can do doubleshines, shining out of shield isn't hard at all. You are doing the exact same thing, except holding shield whilst attempting it.

Doing thunders out of it would be soo nasty.

^^Yhea I can do a single shine out of shield with about 80-90% consistency (95% if it wasnt for me accidently spot dodging all the time >.>). But I can't jc out of the shine (that i just did out of shield) fast enough to thunders.
I can do the y->b motion fast enough for a jc shine and I can do the b->y motion fast enough for thunders, but doing them just after another like that is reaaally hard lol.
And I can't do reverse thunders at all, btw. Timing the jab just right is hard, I always ftilt instead lol.

Oh well, I'm gonna learn this. :) practice is all it takes *starts practicing*

Yhea that's why it's so good.
Yay, finally a super flashy combo for fox that is actually USEFUL aswell! lol

I just think you need to be faster. You'll want to jab them before they've even traveled that far. (you dont have enough time to walk up to them) It becomes slightly easier with a perfect WD tho.
(Thats what makes thunders hard, you need to do everything really fast. but not TO fast off course, the timing needs to be just right)
Sorry for being a noob, but what is the thunder's combo? Vid?
Waveshine->jab on people who fall from the shine. Check the stickies, in the fox everything thread or whatever its called there's a link to a thread by SW where he explains everything about the thunders combo (there's a link to vid there aswell)

its really hard to shine out of shield on the ground, i just sh shine, then cancel with the stick, u get out of the shine in 1 frame and can usually follow it up

At the very least it stops them from attacking your shield.

This is a good idea, but only useful if you can perform consistently under pressure, IMO.

Yeah, I forgot about that, although Brookman apparently posted something about me doing it to him months ago.

Will you land on your feet if you just DI/ASDI up?

yhea I know it's escapeable but everyone doesn't di perfectly every time :p (ka is insane at di tho, so this prolly wont work on him >.>)
If you think he's gonna do that you could just shine out of shield, wd down and try to predict his get-up and punish
this isn't gamebreaking, but useful? yes

ive been using shine oos against falcos for quite some time now (much easier to time then shieldgrab), but i want to learn to do more out of it then 4% damage :p
