I agree, the attack was started in the air. Pretty nice combo at the very least right there.

Hot **** your right. I just watched it more closely. He did start the punch mid air, you can see the fire start flaring up. I guess that means reverse neutral B confirmed then. Gimpy's impression for E for All was from E for All obviously, so they probably changed it from then to now.

Thats a fast falcon punch.

Now everything will combo into it, FALCON PUNCH wont be satisfying.

right after that when marth had the gun

he was shooting to the left of the screen, while walking backwards towards the right,

doubt it's an adv. tech. and it definitely doesn't matter too much, but i thought it was odd

I think he was sliding back from being hit by an attack and was shooting while sliding.

i thought that too, or that he was possibly moonwalking and shooting (somehow)

but i went back and watched it closely, no one is near him when he does it, and he actually steps backwards

oh yeah, kirby definitely L-cancels around 35 seconds, or atleast does a Bair i think (i don't play as kirby) lands and immediately attacks

While it means you can reverse falcon punch, it doesn't necessarily mean that you can reverse neutral-B. He begins charging it while facing to the right during the beginning of the move, and then right before punching he turns around. It's probably just that you can aim the FP either way before it comes out.

I've been personally wondering about something. Since we have things like edge hugging confirmed where all you have to do is run off a stage and smash the stick backwards to grab the edge... could it be possible to simply jump in the air and smash the stick backwards to turn around? That could have some pretty sick potential for mindgames and stuff if you could do stuff like jump past someone, yet turn around midair and hit them from behind with an Fair.

It's Panda...in my thread...yay...anyhoo. One thing that I'm wondering about is if you have to have already started the move in order to turn it around. Because it definitely looks as if CF is facing to the right until later in the animation. So what if, for example. A Wolf player would jump, hit B, THEN hit the opposite direction? Speculation FTW.

Good point.

Either way, reverse Falcon punches are awesome. They may not be practical, but still awesome.

Perhaps only certain neutral Bs can change direction.

He definiately turned around without it, but it looked like the animation had already begun. Maybe it doesnt matter which point you press the stick at(like you can do it before or during the attack)?
